We know of an 8 month old Red merle female who is available to the right home. She is house trained, rings a bell when she needs to go outside. Know sit, down, off, come. Still working on wait and stay. She is good around little kids, has been raised around a 7 yo and a baby. She loves to play ball. Walks well on leash with a gentle leader. Sleeps in her crate at night with her special blankie. She loves her bully sticks, kong and raw bones to chew on and she has been raised with cats. She does not like other over excited dogs coming close to her on walks.
She has been raised holistically, on raw meat and grain free kibble with yeast and salmon oil supplements.
If left outside alone too long she will dig, but is easily distracted by thinking activities.
She needs to be re homed because life circumstances have changed for her owners and they can not devote the time needed to training a highly intelligent and creative breed.
If you are interested in her you should be able and willing with time and money to take her to classes for more training and find out what her job will be in your day to day life. Someone who is home most the time or can take her to work would be an ideal situation. The ideal situation would also include grain-free kibble and raw meat and staying with the modified vaccine protocol that she has been on.
She is sweet and loving and a cuddle bug. With too much time alone she finds creative ways to entertainment herself by getting into garbage ect.
She has been spayed and will also come with food and bedding and all her stuff. The owners are asking only a fraction of what they paid for her to cover the cost of surgery and her stuff. $400.00
The right home and life style are of utmost importance and finding the right match for her.

Thank you for visiting us on the web! HOME OF ASCA AND AKC REGISTERED AUSTRALIAN SHEPHERDS
We are located in Western Washington, north of Seattle and are a small high quality hobby kennel.
Our focus is primarily on healthy, conformationally and genetically sound dogs with great temperaments. My goal is to use natural rearing techniques to breed and raise quality show, performance, and companion dogs and therapy/aide dogs. I feed raw meat mixed with grain-free kibble, organic dark veggies and various vitamins and sockeye salmon oil. Most health issues are handled with natural supplements and homeopathy; I will use conventional methods if the situation requires as they are family.
My Father first infected me with the love of Aussies. He grew up in North Dakota on a huge farm with sheep, cattle, pigs and mules and used his Aussie, Beans to do all the herding work. I grew up hearing stories about this wonderful, smart and insightful dog. So when I had a chance 20 years ago to rescue my first Aussie, a blue merle male named Bluey, of course I jumped at the chance. I have been in love ever since.
Coupled with the stories about herding were stories about the companionship and camaraderie that my Father shared with this wonderful dog on their long horseback rides out to the stock. My Father would let Beans ride in the saddle with him on the way out, as it was many miles and Beans would be working and herding all the way back. He also told stories about life on the farm growing and harvesting everything the family needed. Harvest time was really an exciting time of year when the fruits of one's labor could be realized. I think Beans got his name for his love of eating green beans at picking time. My Father also loved the very old and beautiful song, "Shine on Harvest Moon" and sang it often. So when I remember fondly all the wonderful stories my Father told me, I have a strong feeling about Aussies and harvest time. My Father has now passed on and has not been here to see my love of Aussies and the longing for farm life and harvest time that he instilled in me, but I think he knows somehow. So it is in his honor that I have recently changed the name of my kennel to Harvest Moon Aussies.
